Serious hair help?

i want straight hair but my hair is puffy, dry and kind of wavyish. the last time i went to cut my hair, they straighten it with a hot iron thing and my hair was gorgeous!!! when i washed my hair, it went horrible again. i was going to buy a hot iron thing but i want natural striaght hair and using a hot iron damages your hair more. what can i use to make my hair naturally straight and shiny? what brand\product? please help!!!

Serious hair help?

yikes, we've got a lot of work to do. . .

first of all: it's flat iron, or straightener, not hot iron.

second of all: there's no way to naturally make your hair THAT straight, but to control the wavyness a little, use a smoothing, anti-frizz shampoo/conditioner.

and lastly: i suggest you invest in a hair straightener. you can get them quite cheap, $20 for some. and with that, i suggest you buy a heat protectant spray so you don't fry your hair!

hope i could help!! :]]]]

Serious hair help?

same problem for me. i got to a hair cut place and just ask them to thin-out my hair, but don't change the legnth. (that way your hair will become not puffy, but your hair won't be shorter.) and i have tried so many hair straightners and hair dryers with dombs that make your hair straight, but non of those things have worked for me. ive tried Conair, Chi, Remmington, Revlon, and about 5 different other one's that i bought form a salon. SO what i do is just get a hair dryer with a round bristle brush at the end, and comb my hair go "under." look: http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x240/...

i never thought it could be so easy. just apply some non expensive hair product that looks like cream/lotion, before, and after your hair dry your hair.=) since your curling from under, it'll "weigh" your hair down..idk how it works. its simple lol.
