i I am 13 and I got a permanent curling perm last Summer, my hair used to naturally straight and nice but the perm totally destroyed my hair cause now I have really ugly friz in the front of my hair only and sometimes my hair is either puffy or flat. If I tie my hair not only does my head look flat but when i untie my hair it takes the form of where it has been tied. It is so annoying. My cousin says that I can make it better by letting it dry natually instead of using a hair dryer so it wont get frizzier but i see no changes in that and she said its bad if I straighten my hair often too and that my perm will eventually grow out but in the meantime what can I do to make my hair more easier to work with? Help?? Thanx

Sounds like you need to do some deep conditioning because your hair is dry. You can use just about any type of conditioner, just leave it on longer than a few minutes.

Try backcombing your hair for now to add some extra volume.

Yes your cuz is right it damages hair more when you blow dry it, you should let it air dry and leave some conditioner in it and pretty some it will look better..

You can buy Pantene style pro-v. its an Anti-Frizz serum when your hair is wet if you have long hair you would squirt about 5-8 squirts in the palm of your hands and then put into your hair also get a very good conditioner
