my friend shaved it off i don't think you wanna do that but you could use a wig. or cut by parts till it grows back healthy.

malibu conditioner.
you leave it on for like 45 minutes, i think.
it used to come in little turquoise packets. i don't know anymore.
swimmers use it for chlorine damage. it may help.
also, you can do a protein treatment if you've got the money.

Well I'm thinking you bleached it, so if you want your hair to be healthy, you gotta stop bleaching it to hide the roots. I would just go a darker colour. Use a good shampoo and conditioner (Redken, Dove %26lt;3), and try not to use much heat on your hair. Air dry it when you can, and avoid stupid straightening!

Go to the salon and buy Redken in the blue bottle it is called extreme! It is amazing stuff I live on it. I dye my hair once a week because I can't make up my mind on what I want . My hair is silky and soft and never looks dyed! Best of luck to you!

how damaged is it?
When its wet does it stretch and then break off? if so then you need to be doing some deep conditioning treatments! BUT, you need to be careful not to do too many. I know that sounds weird but if you add too much protein back into your hair you could cause even more damage.
heres some things you can do::
K-Pak Treatments
Redken Deep Fuel Protein packets
Go to a salon every week for a deep conditioner
Also, try to let your hair be for a while. Like.. don't put color, bleach, ANYTHING on it unless its a treatment.
i went through the same thing when i started beauty school. Don't worry, eventually your hair will go back to a somewhat normal state. It will never be back to a real healthy state but it will start to look %26amp; feel better after a few weeks!

to prevent further damage:
one, limit your use of hot styling tools like curling/flat irons and blowdryers. let your hair dry naturally. when you do style it, try to use a leave-in conditioner before you use any heat tools. continue usuing the heat protecting sprays too.
two, limit the number of times you wash your hair each week. it gives a bit of time for the hair oils produced naturally by your scalp to build up and moisturize the hair.
three, always use moisturizing shampoos and conditioners or use ones for damaged hair.
four, always wash your hair in lukewarm water. using hot water will dry out the cuticle and enhance any existing damage and use cool water in the final rinse to seal newly added moisture back into the cuticle.
five, always used wide toothed combs and only brush your hair when really needed to or youll break your hair. for brushes use a boar bristle brush, not one with plastic bristles. boar bristle brushes help prevent breakage.
six, get regular trims to get rid of the split ends and promote hair growth.
to fix the damage:
go to a salon and get a deep conditioning treatment. if you cant afford to go to a salon and get one, you can buy an at-home one. it wont work as well, but it still helps your hair alot.
i also use this coconut milk cream by organix about once a week. it makes your hair softer and healthier, plus i heard it helps your hair grow faster. its also really inexpensive, you can probably find it at your local drugstore/pharmacy.
it might be hard but its worth it to have healthy hair xo
