Benefits: Your hair is straight until it is soaked in water (ie. shower, swimming, etc.).

Not a benefit: If done for too long can damage your hair and create split ends on your hair. But this would not happen for quite some time. It would also depend on the strength of your hair -- so use a good conditioner.

Straighteners don't cost that much money neither do good conditioners.

its good to do it.. but make sur eyou get a hair product and apply it before you do it so you avoid damage.. like tresseme has one thatas afforadable.. hair tamer for heat

By me being an African American, relaxers provide a more manageable setting for my hair. Otherwise I would have to moisturize it (for texture curls), lock it, braid it, or grow an afro.

If done professionally, it isn't "bad". I don't recommend straight ironing everyday. My hair salon named Regis does a professionally straightening system by CHI which is way better than the Japanese straightening everyone is doing. The Japanese is WAY damaging. Only downfall is it is pricey (about $300 or more depending on length) but on the positive side, you have straight hair without having to damage it by using a straightener or blow dryer.

mayb stratening ur hair 1nce a month is good but alot is realyy bad 4 ur hair. its 2 much heat and ur hair will get very dry n that leads 2alot of splitends ur hair also becomes very weak and it can fall out as ur older or even a few months after.

not on a daily basis. i mean you could go once in awhile and get it professionally done but i reccommend buying a good branded hair straightner. DONT get a cheap one it ruins your hair.

make sure you use a good shampoo like the anti hair damage ones..it'll repair the damages....
