What is the best wax for hair?

I heard zac uses wax in his hair and also straightens it 0_o how does a guy straighten his hair?! do you need a special straightener or w,e -_- my sis got one and i tried it LMAO but my bangs ended up being straight and going downwards. But yeah i want my hair to go sideways like this

http://www.efronfreak.com/wp-content/upl...

i tried that garnier fructis surf hair wax, and their gum thingy for the hair. Any other recommendations for wax? I tried doing my hair like that with gell but it just doesnt work out lol

What is the best wax for hair?

thats simple man, my hair is often like that, well, first of all, it depends on how your hair is like, not the condition, but how it looks right now, i would suggest you take that picture to a fashion salon, thats what I do..and its only around $20~$40, usually they'll cut your hair for you (in fashion), and then they'll show you how to maintain, put in shape...etc. There will usually be some products in the store that you can check out, I cant really say anything about the price or anything, bcuz normally the products there are much more expensive, BUT you wont be able to get those stuff anywhere else.....so yeah...but if all you really want is some is some simple wax and try to make it like zac efron's, I'd suggest wax that is not too dry and chunky, and he definitely uses hair spray to give it that shiny, wet, glassy look.....I'd suggest "loreal" products, they're usually pretty nice....so yeah.....just ask me if you have anymore questions :) Hope this helped.

What is the best wax for hair?

Try using "Bumble and Bumble"...it works great and will give you the results you are looking for. You just have to heat up the wax with your hair dryer for about 30 seconds before using it...the product can be found at salons or spas.

I'm losing my hair everyday. Please help me!!!?

I'm a 30yr old, black female with normal black people fuzzy hair. I'd been to salons and done my hair in spiral curls several times but never had the problem of hair breakage. Now each time I wash my hair I always get a handful of hair in the bathroom and then after towel-drying my hair I comb it and still get a handful of hair. I had very thick, long hair but now it's so thin it's not normal for a Pacific Islander like me cos we have very long and very thick hair. What should I do? I've tried our natural oil (fresh coconut) to get my hair back to normal but that didn't help. The hair dresser told me that since my hair has chemical in it, I can't go back to our natural oil. I have to continue using chemicals. But what can I do to stop the breakage/losing of hair? I desperately need help.

I'm losing my hair everyday. Please help me!!!?

"The advertisements for treatment of balding, and hair loss in men can't be missed. These ads might lead one to believe that hair loss is generally a men's issue. However the fact is that as many as two-thirds of all women experience hair loss at some point." This is not an uncommon problem among young women. My niece was 24 when she started to experience hair loss. However, she also had very thick hair and this went on for a few months and gradually settled and the hair loss subsided.

"Experts say our tresses usually grow at the rate of about one-half inch per month -- with each hair having a growth phase of two to six years. At that point the hair "rests" for a period of time, then falls out -- and the follicle from which it sprang soon starts growing a new strand. And so the cycle continues, usually well into our senior years."

I'm losing my hair everyday. Please help me!!!?

Go to your doctor it might be stress. oR for the worse Cancer

I'm losing my hair everyday. Please help me!!!?

Stop all the chemical treatments, shave it short, then let it grow out naturally.

I'm losing my hair everyday. Please help me!!!?

dont go to the same salon cut the hair as short as you can and then a hot oil treatment will help its been burned and over processed thats a thing the salon should have warned you about licensed beauty operator 1980

I'm losing my hair everyday. Please help me!!!?

get a really good anti breakage conditioner... your best bet would be to cut it short and get extensions until it gets healthy... also your stylist might be using a harsh chemical on ur hair 4 the perm... they might be leaving it in too long too..... you need to go to a good salon.... ask around when you see someone you like, ask where they get their hair done and what they use for treating.... hugs

I'm losing my hair everyday. Please help me!!!?

Im a 35 year old black male and about 2 years ago I started to loose hair right in the center of my head. It was from stress. I went to Walgreens and bought some MINOXIDIL in the spray bottles and it worked.I learned to chill out and I havent had that problem since. Its a little expensive but it works, youll start seeing the results in less than a week!

NEW HAIR CUTt?

I want to get a new hair stlye.

I have dirty blonde hair, about two inches below my shoulder, with front layers starting at my chin.

I wan't to get hair like Sarah Chalke ( Elliot from Scrubs).

So I want the same langth, just a trim, layers (for all my hair, not just in front), and my front layer starting at like my eye.

is that a good plan?

I also want my hair lighter, but I'm don't (and can't) really die my hair, what can I do to get it lighter?

Also, I want to be able to part my hair, do I need to tell the hair stlyest that,. or can I do that with any hair stlye?

( sry 4 all the q's)

THAX!!!!!!!!!

NEW HAIR CUTt?

to answer your first question, i'm not a fan of that haircut, but if you like it, go for it.

to get your hair lighter, you could try chamomile tea or some lemon, but those work better in the summer.

and yes, when you go to the stylist, you have to tell him/her how you regularly part your hair in order for them to cut it right good luck.

NEW HAIR CUTt?

UV RAYS CAN LIGHTEN YOUR HAIR, TRY TANNING. AND DEPENDING ON YOUR BONE STRUCTURE IM SURE THAT HAIR STYLE WOULD BE GREAT! GOOD LUCK. PS: YOU CAN PART YOUR HAIR WITH ANY STYLE JUST USE A COMB/BRUSH WHILE ITS WET.

NEW HAIR CUTt?

Hair style probably base on your head's shape and how you face looks like.

Can cutting hair let thick hair replace it?

I am a male and have good hair but after letting my hair grow out for a couple of months i used some hair spray thing and notcied my hair has gotten thinner... Will cutting my hair/ w clippers @ barbers let my hair regrow as thick as it normally was b4 the hairspray?

Is there any advice to thicken hair

or not make it look as bad?

BtW im a teen/ no surgery for me?

What hair sprays would u recomend for hair spiking and stuff if any at all?

Tanx ;] As always best answer=10 points

Can cutting hair let thick hair replace it?

I'm not an expert at this but i had a similar problem and getting it cut does help thicken it up. Honestly hair looks better when there is no hairspray on it. Yes, it does make it look better but it also makes it look hard and it doesn't look soft. I would say get it cut but don't use hairspray. =D

Can cutting hair let thick hair replace it?

Cutting your hair does not make it grow back thicker.

Can cutting hair let thick hair replace it?

use volume shampoo and when u get out of the shower use a quater size of volume gel and rub it in ur hair evenly that will make fuller.

Can cutting hair let thick hair replace it?

as long al you look ok bald and not like some freak then i say cut your hair and give it a try. if that doesnt work then youve probabbly got male pattern baldness and youll need some pricier help best of luck

Can cutting hair let thick hair replace it?

Hi.

I'm not sure about any hair sprays but while your washing your hair, gently massage your scalp and that will get the blood flowing under under your scalp and eventually you will get shinier, thicker hair...I do it sometimes and it helps if you keep doing it.

Can cutting hair let thick hair replace it?

is your dad bold by any chance?

Can cutting hair let thick hair replace it?

I feel for you, I was in the same boat back in the 70's when hair was IT, I had fine curly hair that would almost turn into a 'fro when I let it grow out which was the norm. I allowed it to control my self esteem for years trying sprays and gels and every camouflage thickener I could find. Relief finally came when I had given up all hope and was on a plane coming back from Vegas seated next to a completely bald man and I asked him how he lost it. He told me that he preferred not having to fool with it and started cutting it off at a young age with a #2 cut at a stylist first then a #1, finally he shaved it. It set me free, alternate between a 2 and a 1 as my mood fits and my hair loss is no longer an issue. I don't have to worry about styling or drying it anymore lol.

Hope that helps

What hair product should i use to make my hair grow faster?

Lots of people say that 'mane and tail' shampoo and conditoner make your hair grow faster and thicker.; but i dont want my hair to get any thicker. i really need a hair product that would make my hair grow faster as soon as possible.

a hair product that would not make my hair dry or would cause any bad effects to my hair.

Any suggestions??

Any hair products that i could use??

What hair product should i use to make my hair grow faster?

i dont think anything can make your hair grow faster. just keep it healthy and trim it usually.

What hair product should i use to make my hair grow faster?

just rub ur head with any oil every night that will stimulate the follicles to grow...its already working for me after a week...and take vitamins and biotin

What hair product should i use to make my hair grow faster?

im a guy and im growing my hair out long. I use Mane N Tail shampoo and conditioner. I also take prenatal vitamins for my hair. Im also taking biotin which promotes hair growth.

What hair product should i use to make my hair grow faster?

No matter what ever you hear about products that make your hair grow. I'm sorry to say but it doesn't work. Don't use horse shampoo on your hair.

The only thing that really makes your hair grow a little bit faster is pregnancy.

I'm sure this isn't what you wanted to hear. Good luck anyway.

What hair product should i use to make my hair grow faster?

It's really a combination of things.

First, you have to have proper nutrition. And you also must drink 8-10 glasses of water daily.

Visit these sites to see what kinds of vitamins and foods help hair growth and the other benefits they have:

http://growafrohairlong.com/foods.html

Boundless Tresses. It's AMAZING. I went from 1/2" of growth a month to a full 1" a month with this. You can purchase it here:

http://growthspecifics.com/2.html

There's an FAQ so you can learn everything you need to know about if from the FAQ.

You also must treat your hair well! No drying shampoos or conditioners with filler. This means that it's best for you to get all hair products from a salon or beauty supply store like Sally's. Drug store products use fillers like clay which can coat the hair shaft and cause it to break.

Do NOT rub your hair with a towel, just blot it and let ir air dry. The only thing your hair should rub against is silk. Which is a good reason to invest in a silk headwrap and silk pillowcases and bedsheets.

Do NOT use heat more than once a month. Heat will cause hair breakage and just keep you further away from your goal. When you do heat style, use a heat protectant. (This includes hair straightening, flat irons, curling irons, diffusers, and blowdryers.)

It's also best if you avoid using styling products like hairspray, gel, mousse all the time as most of these have some sort of alcohol in it with can dry out your hair.

The next thing is moisture and conditioning. It's best if you get a quality deep conditioner, leave-in conditioner, and daily conditioner.

Once a week or once every two weeks, deep condition your hair.

When you condition your hair with a daily conditioner, leave it on for 10 minutes before washing it out.

Use the co-washing method. That means you might wet your hair everyday and use conditioner, but NOT shampoo. Shampooing everyday isn't really necessary unless your hair is EXTREMELY greasy. You should shampoo the days that you plan on deep conditioning.

When you get out of the shower, you spray the leave-in conditioner in your hair. Infusium 23 Original Formula Leave-In Conditioner is really good. Comb it through with a wide-tooth comb.

Ditch the harsh plastic combs and invest in a boar bristle brush, pick, and wide-tooth comb.

You can also choose to use hot oil treatmens and cholesterol treatments. You should probably do a hot oil treatment once or twice a month and a cholesterol treatment weekly or every two weeks.

People say trimming your hair will grow it longer, but that is FALSE. Your hair grows from the ROOTS, meaning that if you cut your ends, your hair wouldn't recognize this and magically grow. However, trimming will keep your hair neat and get rid of split ends, which makes it stronger and will help with length RETENTION (keeping the length)

If you want support and new ideas and techniques for growing your hair long, you may want to join the ladies on the LHCF.

I know this is a lot of information, but I've been growing my hair out and I started above shoulder length, and now it is chest length! Still growing.

Scene hair, please?

rightt. :] noww.

my hair right now is a bit past my shoulders and in a couple of layers but each layer is quite long 'cus if i cut it short it goes SUPER POOF.

also, my hair is wavy and I don't HAVE time to continually straighten it, so any help their?

and i want scene hair but like, hair i can make scene when i want to - not hair that is ALWAYS scene.

like the top part isn't always poofy unless i actually apply hairspray to it, etc.

'cause i go to school and i sit in the first row biatchh [courstey of my teechie] so i cant 'ave big poof'd up hair seeing as it'll probs annoy the dudes at the back tryin' t'see the board, innit?

so HELP.

-- SCENE HAIR.

-- POOF'D UP WHEN I WANT IT TO BE.

-- UN-POOF'D ALWAYS EXCEPT WHEN I WANNIT'BE POOF'D.

Anything with some cool color in it will look really cool. You can always tizz, too.

Scene hair, please?

get a hair relaxer at the store which will make your hair straight for six months. I have the same kind of hair. The relaxer is only about 8 dollars. it works great and if u maintain ur hair u won't have to use the straightener anymore.

Scene hair, please?

you'll have to like tease your hair

to get a little poof if you know what that is and

for the look youre going for, youre prob.

gonna need some gel and lots of hairspray%26lt;3

Scene hair, please?

i would suggest getting your top layer cut a little bit shorter. instead of straightening, try blow drying with a straightening cream. if this makes your hair poofy, you could always straighten just the ends (get a really good straightener...the ones from walmart and target are crap. mine was 100 bucks but it straightens absolutely anything in no time) also, if you search 'wavy scene hair' on photobucket or another image search, youll see some out there that look really great!!

My hair!!??

when i was i think 6 or 7 my sister was putting some spray in my hair and we were at my grandmas she put the spray in my hair and it smelt like alcohol and she asked my grandma and it was so my sister washed it out immediately and yeah. now im 11 and my hair is all poofy its short and yeah i hate it. do u think it affected my hair? my mom and sister hair was puffy and my hair dosnt stay down like normal girls hair dose. im not sure if my moms hair was like mine.

My hair!!??

Uh, I doubt it. I think you're just overreacting. I had the same problem, but it was with something different. Anyways, you're just being a bit over self concious, which is normal, but if this is really bothering you, go to a professional stylist to see if its really a problem.

EDIT: hey if its really bothering you, look for some hair shine serum next time your at the supermarket with you mom. that should help. and yes, comb your hair, especailly after taking a shower or bath.

My hair!!??

I don't think that would have changed your hair. That was like 4-5 years ago. Any effects from if would be long gone.

My hair!!??

marshmellows are good!

penguin.

haha

My hair!!??

it will probably get straighter when you get older. the alchohol should not have affected it too much. maybe just burnt it a little i have had hair troubles similar and my hair gets straighter and straighter every time i iron it try it.

My hair!!??

um i think that it is your natuel hair the achohal i don't think had much of an effect on your hair try this: let it grow out or thin it out then it would look really preety

G00d Luck -someone

My hair!!??

no if it had to be poofed up cuz of the spray it would poof up when you were 6 or 7 not now. and if you are 11 what are you doing on YAHOO ANSWERS KID. be atleast 13. i mean im 14.

Cutting baby's hair?

hey guys. i searched for this question already and i guess i want to ask my own personalized question. my son is 4 months old now and, as with most babies I'm sure, he was born with straight hair. His hair isn't growning straight anymore. It's now growing as small, somewhat tight curls. The thing is having straight spikey hair on the tip and curly hair at the root is looking somewhat tacky to me. what i wanna do is cut the straight hair off.

is he too young for me to cut his hair? are there any alternatives to cutting his hair? is there anything that's safe to put on his hair at his age? any advice for the lack of growth of the hair on his sides and in the back? just any advice on a 4 month old's hair would be helpful

Cutting baby's hair?

Hi there i have a 5 month old and im a hairdresser. Oil does Not cause cradlecap but dont use it on his hair consistenly if you are using it to flatten his hair.Only use oil if his scalp is dry.Let his head breathe. He is not young enough to have a haircut, but as he is only 4 months he still can lose what is already grown. You cant make his hair grow at this age, just let it be.It will get worse before it gets better.Just let him have crazy hair as there is nothing you can do yet.Tacky is cute on a baby...He is a baby remember, not a fashion model.

Cutting baby's hair?

no, just wait until he's asleep in a swing or his infant carrier before you cut it. The bald in the back is normal from sleeping, don't worry about it.

Cutting baby's hair?

you wont hurt him if you cut it but you cant make the sides grow...may not happen for a few years.

Cutting baby's hair?

I don't think cutting it will change it from being curly. If he has the gene, then he has it. His hair is either going to be curly or not, period. THere's nothing you can do. You can cut it, yes, but it won't make it straight. And cutting hair doesn't make it grow. Hair grows from the roots, not the ends.

Cutting baby's hair?

Too young to cut hair. Ask the pediatrician.

Cutting baby's hair?

Recommend 1 year for your baby's first hair cut. My son has curly patches all over, I use baby oil sometimes it helps it look better. Other than that there is nothing you can do. Plus, he a baby no one cares.

Cutting baby's hair?

you can use lotion or baby oil in the hair i wouldn't cut it just yet wait till a year before you cut it for the bald spots you just have to not lay on the same side all the time it is very common for bald spots

Cutting baby's hair?

A hat is always helpful...babies are cute and most people don't get the time to pick out the imperfections...yes you can cut his hair and you can also use baby oil to style...

Cutting baby's hair?

Well my mom had to cut my hair when I was 3 months old, not for the same reason, my hair was really long and hanging in my eyes. You can cut his hair now, just be careful.

It probably isn't that uncommon, the hair babies are born with is often different then what grows in shortly after.

Cutting baby's hair?

Cut his hair when you want. Ask you doctor if it would be okay to put leave in conditioner in his hair. That is what I do for my three year old for tangley hair.

Hair question... important?

okay, my hair is naturally medium/dark brown and i dyed it an amber color, after that i decided to try and get it back brown and orangish streaks kept coming out each time i tried to dye it back brown. i decided to strip my hair even though i know its really bad for your hair, but luckily my hair is healthy enough. i called clairol and they told me that i should use a light reddish color to do a tint back on my hair, then add a light brown color so my hair won't be too dark. well, she told me to just put the hair color(no developer) on my hair for the red and blot it and i did, and then put the brown color on so i did that as well. my hair is reddish brown and i'm wondering, when my hair starts to grow out and the color starts to fade, will the orange from stripping the hair come thru? (when stripping the hair, it turns brown hair orange sometimes)?and i still want to get it brown, but my hair is shoulder length and im wondering if i should waitforittogrowoutorshould useatempdyeontop

Hair question... important?

It is hard to say weather it will show. being you did not use a developer it might. It is more like a toner she had you do with out buying a toner. But it will not be permanent colour with out the developer so it will wash out with each wash.

When you do a colour you need to know what the base colour is of the colour you are putting into your hair. I don't know if you have gray hair or not. But gray has no pigment so it can pick up the base color sometimes of the colour you used. More then likely you have a red base to your hair. So you would use a red base if you want a lot of red. If you don't want red you would use a green base. It is like the primary and secondary colours on a colour wheel. When you mix red and green you get brown. I am thinking your base colour in the amber was gold or yellow which will give you an orange. Then when you striped most likely not all the colour came out and you are left with the base orange.

I would say to wait and see it may not show orange when it fades. But if it does you need to buy a professional hair color from like sally's or beauty mart. Anyone can buy professional colors now. Make sure it has a green base to it.

Then follow the way you would normally colour your hair. But leave the new growth and the ends until the last 10 min or so. You ends will pick up colour faster and so does the new growth or virgin hair. You will see what the base colour is on the box of the colour. I hope this helps

Hair question... important?

I'm telling you, stop trying to correct it, your hair will get ruined. My hair is also a medium/dark brown, and at 18 years old i started getting partial honey highlights just the crown area and i just recently stopped, I'm 27 years old now but last year was the last straw for me and i said "NO MORE"even thought the highlights look beautiful and the lady from the salon i use to go to always made them look great but i really do regret it soooo much now, from all the chemicals of highlighting for so many years, than all the chemicals to try to correct my hair and get it back to my natural color made it even worse!...Now my hair is extremely dry i lose more hair i noticed...so save yourself from my experience and just leave it alone. I wish i had my natural healthy medium/dark brown hair again! Now i just will let it grow all out and hope eventually i get my natural hair back.

My hair is so fried , what can i do to get it back to its healthy state but keeping it blonde?

i'm trying this new Garnier Fructus hair mask (strength and renewal). so far i think it's working pretty good. or you could just go the easy way out and get it shaved :P

My hair is so fried , what can i do to get it back to its healthy state but keeping it blonde?

I have the same problem with my hair. But mine is red.

My hair is so fried , what can i do to get it back to its healthy state but keeping it blonde?

my friend shaved it off i don't think you wanna do that but you could use a wig. or cut by parts till it grows back healthy.

My hair is so fried , what can i do to get it back to its healthy state but keeping it blonde?

malibu conditioner.

you leave it on for like 45 minutes, i think.

it used to come in little turquoise packets. i don't know anymore.

swimmers use it for chlorine damage. it may help.

also, you can do a protein treatment if you've got the money.

My hair is so fried , what can i do to get it back to its healthy state but keeping it blonde?

Well I'm thinking you bleached it, so if you want your hair to be healthy, you gotta stop bleaching it to hide the roots. I would just go a darker colour. Use a good shampoo and conditioner (Redken, Dove %26lt;3), and try not to use much heat on your hair. Air dry it when you can, and avoid stupid straightening!

My hair is so fried , what can i do to get it back to its healthy state but keeping it blonde?

Go to the salon and buy Redken in the blue bottle it is called extreme! It is amazing stuff I live on it. I dye my hair once a week because I can't make up my mind on what I want . My hair is silky and soft and never looks dyed! Best of luck to you!

My hair is so fried , what can i do to get it back to its healthy state but keeping it blonde?

how damaged is it?

When its wet does it stretch and then break off? if so then you need to be doing some deep conditioning treatments! BUT, you need to be careful not to do too many. I know that sounds weird but if you add too much protein back into your hair you could cause even more damage.

heres some things you can do::

K-Pak Treatments

Redken Deep Fuel Protein packets

Go to a salon every week for a deep conditioner

Also, try to let your hair be for a while. Like.. don't put color, bleach, ANYTHING on it unless its a treatment.

i went through the same thing when i started beauty school. Don't worry, eventually your hair will go back to a somewhat normal state. It will never be back to a real healthy state but it will start to look %26amp; feel better after a few weeks!

My hair is so fried , what can i do to get it back to its healthy state but keeping it blonde?

to prevent further damage:

one, limit your use of hot styling tools like curling/flat irons and blowdryers. let your hair dry naturally. when you do style it, try to use a leave-in conditioner before you use any heat tools. continue usuing the heat protecting sprays too.

two, limit the number of times you wash your hair each week. it gives a bit of time for the hair oils produced naturally by your scalp to build up and moisturize the hair.

three, always use moisturizing shampoos and conditioners or use ones for damaged hair.

four, always wash your hair in lukewarm water. using hot water will dry out the cuticle and enhance any existing damage and use cool water in the final rinse to seal newly added moisture back into the cuticle.

five, always used wide toothed combs and only brush your hair when really needed to or youll break your hair. for brushes use a boar bristle brush, not one with plastic bristles. boar bristle brushes help prevent breakage.

six, get regular trims to get rid of the split ends and promote hair growth.

to fix the damage:

go to a salon and get a deep conditioning treatment. if you cant afford to go to a salon and get one, you can buy an at-home one. it wont work as well, but it still helps your hair alot.

i also use this coconut milk cream by organix about once a week. it makes your hair softer and healthier, plus i heard it helps your hair grow faster. its also really inexpensive, you can probably find it at your local drugstore/pharmacy.

it might be hard but its worth it to have healthy hair xo

My hair is driving me crazy.?

So i am a guy with curly caucasian hair. My mom has bone straight hair and my dad has curly hair. Out of four brothers they all have awsome straight hair except for me. I have always had curly hair. Like full on curly. I have been searching forever to find something that i can put into my hair that will make it not even straight, but wavy, but i havent been able to find anything. Please dont say buy a hair straightener or why straighten your curls because ive heard it all before and i really have tried to live with it, but its just impossible for me. So, if anyone has any ideas or items theyve used before and believe works and makes their hair not only significantly straighter, but it stays like that for liek a month or so, please notify me. Thanks alot. p.s. i am like fifteen so it cant be like super expensive.

My hair is driving me crazy.?

ask a hairdresser at your local salon i am sure they would know

My hair is driving me crazy.?

what she said

My hair is driving me crazy.?

there are all kinds of products, but the best bet would always be to ask your stylist, if you don't go to the same person everytime just go somewhere you trust and ask what the best product would be for your hair type. i wouldn't try to make it straight, just make it manageable. john freida products for curly hair are pretty good, and if you have frizzy hair, frizz ease seems to work for most of the people in my family.

i have the opposite problem, i wish my hair would curl...

My hair is driving me crazy.?

Honestly, take it from me. I'm sixteen, and ever since I was 5 I hated my hair. I mean REALLY hated it. I would try to cut it off when my parents weren't looking, etc.

So two years ago, I decided hell with my curly hair, and I got it professionally straightened. With a fabulous hairdresser, by the way, so it wasn't her fault.

I spent at least 300 dollars on my handheld straightener and chemical straightening.

You know what happened? I woke up really early, and straightened my hair with the handheld, right after having pretty much toxins poured into my hair to make it straight. I was so excited, and went to school. After third period, I went into the bathroom to admire my hair. You know what I saw?

Curls, EVERYWHERE! Not only that, but it was frizzier and bone dry, despite the globs of leave in conditioner I used. I nearly cried. For the last two years, my hair has been way worse, and it is just now getting better, and I will never straighten my hair again.

I'm not going to lie to you, I still don't like my hair. I have expirimented with quite a few colors (I have highlighted my hair three differnt colors and even dyed it purple for two weeks) and it is still curly and frizzy. I regret the day I tried to change my hair, and although I will always want beautiful smooth straight silky hair, thats just not what I have.

You can do whatever you want to your hair, but don't say I didn't warn you! It sounds like we have the same hair type, and my hair just doesn't straighten. Good luck!

Oh, and try the Aveda curls stuff. It is great!

Hair Length for Clip In Extensions?

I am going from black to blonde hair and so my hair is very orange-ish right now :) Anyways, I had a lot of roots, I had stopped dying my hair in hopes it would be easier to go blonde, and so the ends of my hair are really dead.

because of the dead ends, my hair is constantly in tangles. I was thinking about just going and getting all the dead ends cut off, that way I could just get it over with and be blonde or make the transition quicker. But my question is, how long should your hair typically be in order to wear clip in extensions comfortablly? I decided to stop getting weave'd and glue in extensions, the cost and time I just don't have anymore, so I am sticking with clip ins. I just don't want to have my hair cut so short that I look fatter than I already am plus my extensions are showing and stuff.

Hair Length for Clip In Extensions?

i use loriel exellence creme as there is no need for a pre lightener it takes my hair from black to blonde in 40 mins, its far cheaper than the hairdressers, they do an intensive conditioner now too try using that for a week or so first and get as much of your condition back so less needs taking off i have the clip ins also and the clips are soo tiny they wont be seen hun

New hair color on permed hair?

Ok, about a month and a half ago I dyed my hair for the first time.About 3 weeks after that I permed my hair(I perm every couple of months or so) and my hair started to fall out pretty badly, but its being treated now and its a whole lot better.Anyways I want to dye my hair again, this time jet black last time reddish/goldish.Well my question is:Is it safe to color my hair right now..possibly using color for perm treated hair..or should I just leave it alone for right now and give my hair a break for a couple of months?

New hair color on permed hair?

yes by perming and coloring so soon together you've chemically damaged your heair.

no do not dye your hair. it will break more and it might fall out pretty badly again.

stop for awhile and try to deep condition it often

New hair color on permed hair?

leave it alone

New hair color on permed hair?

no yr hair will still fall

New hair color on permed hair?

Buy a wig, best of both worlds. Cheaper as well.

New hair color on permed hair?

A perm can really damage your hair, to much chemicals in your hair will cause some damage, do not do anything with it just use lots of deep conditioning treatments and let it grow out.

Girls: should guys shave off their body hair?

Why is blonde hair so over-rated?

I have nothing against blondes but it just seems like everyone is always dying their hair blonde or getting blonde highlights even if it doesn't look good on them. So many brunettes dye their hair blonde even if their natural haircolor might be prettier. I am a natural brunette and have my natural brown hair now and for awhile I had blonde highlights and yeah it looked nice but I didn't think it was soooooooo much better or prettier than my natural hair color. A lot of ppl tell me blonde hair would suit me b/c of my blue eyes and light skin but I like having dark hair, I think it's just as pretty! People still act like having blonde hair is sacred or something and that being blonde automatically makes you attractive. Like about Britney Spears' shaving her head, people's reactions were: "She had such beautiful blonde hair". Please! Her brunette hair was nice Personally I think dark hair is a lot prettier, that's just my opinion. No I am not jealous because I know some ppl will say that.

Why is blonde hair so over-rated?

It is what people push in the entertainment business

Why is blonde hair so over-rated?

well because blonde do like everything better and well they kinda have a bad rep but no one cares but they just do it Report It

Why is blonde hair so over-rated?

You sure put a lot of effort in this question.. will a one word answer win Best answer or no?

For vain people hair color may be an issue.. for most of the rest of us we never think much about it.

Why is blonde hair so over-rated?

i guess blonde is the new fad.....but my opinion is that highlights should be illegal (bright blonde hair looks tacky with dark hair...)

Why is blonde hair so over-rated?

its not everyone thinks theyre not as bright as brunettes

Why is blonde hair so over-rated?

My hair is blond, its my comfort zone. It fits me best, I think. I know plenty of people who think brunettes are more exotic looking. Its all personal preference.

Why is blonde hair so over-rated?

I think the roots (no pun) of this go wayyyyy back in this country.

For ages, the "archetype" for beauty here has been a blonde.

You can see evidence of it in movies from the 40s, %26amp; 50s to today.

Personally, I'll have a sultry brunette ANY day. I only make Very rare exceptions....

Why is blonde hair so over-rated?

I don't know and I agree with what you are saying but a girl can have a hideous face and have blond hair and there will always be some stupid guy that thinks she's hot.

Why is blonde hair so over-rated?

I am blonde....I wouldn't trade for any other color....

Why is blonde hair so over-rated?

i hate a fake blonde,

true blondes are different, they are born blonde

Why is blonde hair so over-rated?

According to Frenchy from Grease "Blondes do have more fun."

Why is blonde hair so over-rated?

I definitely have to agree with you!!!! A lot of people with blonde hair prance around with the attitude "im blonde so im so unique". When nowadays, sooo many people are doing it. So when I look at them, their beauty is plain and boring because ALL i see if blonde nowadays. And in a lot of guys eyes blonde is so fake. I dont understand. When I dyed my hair blonde I was blind because I felt so unique with blonde hair, then months later when I dyed it back to brown I saw my true beauty. Blonde hair also tends to bring out imperfections on your face more when you get them.

Why is blonde hair so over-rated?

I agree. almost everyone at my school has (unnatural) blonde hair. I have extremely dark brown long hair( although my avatar has black hair cause its closer to my color and it has short hair(I really liked the hat) my hair goes to my butt) and not to be concided but I think Its very sexy. Actually I think Dark hair is sexier.

Why is blonde hair so over-rated?

I'm open to all types but I do admit a preference for brunettes. Maybe blonde hair is somehow associated with youth, fairness or innocence (good guy - white hat, bad guy - black hat)? But that thought scratches some deeper cultural stuff.

Or it could be simply that the blonde color hides gray and white hairs better (and dandruff?)!

Why is blonde hair so over-rated?

Because everyone wants to match that old saying "blondes have ore fun".

Why is blonde hair so over-rated?

same here. when i was in the 7th grade i wanted blond hair really bad. now im in 9th grade and i would never dye my hair blond, i actually want to dye the blond parts of my hair (since i have a lot of natural high lights) a dark brown. im not allowed to but if i was my hair would be a dark shade of brown. most the blonds i have seen have very thin hair and they have a lot of split ends, and i dont want that. im happy being a thick haired brunette. yea. who cares if more people like blonds over brunettes.. at least we can read

Why is blonde hair so over-rated?

Light hair brightens a woman's face and somehow makes us just feel brighter. I started at 16 until I had my 1st baby at 21. I darkened it to look "matronly." Man it only took me about a year to go blonde all over again and I felt much better.

Why is blonde hair so over-rated?

I can't really believe you would say that...you are seriously stereotyping...you're putting ALL blonde people into the valley girl, ditsy, idiot group...i have natural blonde hair and it NEVER even crossed my mind for a second to think that it would make me even slightly "better than someone else"...i completely disagree with you that the majority of blondes are shallow and think they are "sacred" because I know a TON of really great blonde people who are the sweetest, most humble people you will EVER meet.

...i know some people with ugly blonde hair, but i also know some people with ugly brunette hair...it depends on the person if the color of hair is ugly or not. not ALL blondes are pretty and not ALL brunettes are pretty either.

Why is blonde hair so over-rated?

Well I have blonde hair right now, but I've had black hair, brown hair, and even reddish brown hair. Some people just like experimenting with different hair colours. I don't think it really matters....its just hair, people can have fun with their hair and do whatever they like.

A lot of people like blonde hair because it IS gorgeous, it shines in the sun and is light and pretty.

But a lot of my friends that are naturally blonde dye their hair brunette, because there's something mysterious and sexy about brunettes.

So really, who cares what other people do with their hair. People just do what makes them happy and there's nothing wrong with that. I think all hair colours are gorgeous.

Hair dying question;?

okay i want to dye my hair before school starts in 3weeks;

right now it has faded to a dark blonde %26amp; undernieth it is darker, its a dark brown.

im dying my whole hair dark mahogany brown, and then i am doing red %26amp; blonde streaks on the top layer with one of those caps, how long should i wait to do the highlights and lowlights, i mean i haven't dyed my hair in forever so its pretty healthy..

but also, how much will the brown fade before i do the highlights?

i mean i want my hair to be brown when i do the highlights so they stand out, but because its already dark brown underneith does that mean that, that shouldn't fade as fast if its darker than what im dying my whole hair?

sorry if this is confusing, im kinda lost also?

any hints please give..

thanks!%26lt;3.

also my mom is doing this for me, at this time we aren't going in a hair salon to pay over 200.00 for my hair

Hair dying question;?

try using revlon 81

Hair dying question;?

i would suggest waiting a day or two befor putting your highlights in and try the pantine shampo that helps restore color when you wash that way you hair dosent fade as fast..

Has ur friend ever messed up ur hair color?

Sitting here sad because I trusted someone to do my hair and they did try but turned out so wrong..going to go fix it later lol suppose to be highlights but looks like blonde all over in some spots and not enough in others uggh last time i do that!

Has ur friend ever messed up ur hair color?

No.

I have one friend that I let mess with my hair, and she is a freaking master.

I've had professionals screw up my color before, though.

Has ur friend ever messed up ur hair color?

I personally have never had a friend mess up dying my hair.

But I have another friend who's hair got messed up by her friend. They were trying to dye it a deep red color, but it turned out to be bright pink.

Oh yes, and good luck on having your hair fixed. I'm sure it'll be okay!

Has ur friend ever messed up ur hair color?

Yep, when I was in high school I decided to purchase a highlighting kit from Big Lots (of all places). After about an hour of pulling my long, dark, thick hair through a cap, my friend dumps the bleach on my hair, and using the leftover bleach, places the front section of her hair in a foil packet. I can't remember how long that bleach was on my poor head, but I do remember trying to pry the cap off, with the dried up bleach making it harder. We finally get it off, and I am left with blotchy, fried, orange and yellow hair (she must have pulled nearly all of it through the cap). The next day I went to a salon and had it all cut off. Meanwhile, her hair that she foiled turned out a beautiful silvery blonde shade, perfectly placed. Really though, it wasn't her fault, she never claimed to be a stylist, and it was a bad judgment call of mine to use a bleaching kit (particularly a $3 one from Big Lots) on my dark hair in the first place. Sigh. You live, you learn.

Has ur friend ever messed up ur hair color?

Hair is precious gift given by GOD,never play with it,take advise from specialist only.

Has ur friend ever messed up ur hair color?

yes!

It was the first and lst time I ever got her to do my hair again!

Has ur friend ever messed up ur hair color?

Haha, I'm joining the club. When I was 15, I wanted half my hair blonde on top and the other half my natural hair color (brown). Well, I decided to let my sister do it. So, I take saran wrap and wrap it around the bottom part of my hair that I wanted to keep brown...doomed from the start. Well, she puts in the BLEACH BLONDE hair dye and we leave it in for as long as it says to. I wash it out and my hair is orange. I FLIPPED out and could only yell at my sister...I didn't want to admit that I was wrong. I grabbed the hair dye, literally, with my bare hands and start smearing it all over my head. It turned out blonde, but still hideous, and sadly. I actually liked it at that point in my life...I was sexy...if you are into that Courtney Love look....

What to do if your hair color went different from?

from a new conditioner? what can you do ? especially no return cause it is against your mom's believes. thank you

What to do if your hair color went different from?

I'm sorry but I don't understand your question.

What to do if your hair color went different from?

wtf are you trying to say?

REPHRASE!

What to do if your hair color went different from?

well if u dont like the color then STOP using the conditioner and maybe it will go away

Right now, my hair is armpit-length.

Should I grow out my layers and cut it to shoulder-length, or grow it to mid-back length ?

Please tell me your opinions on both hair lengths.

I shall thank you in advance.

- Jelle.

Shoulder-length hair VS Mid-back length hair?

maybe layered sholder length hair. not really short layers since u need to tie it up.

Shoulder-length hair VS Mid-back length hair?

hi! i just got my hair cut today and i love it. it just skims my shoulders, and it's great!! it's light, bouncy, and i grew out my layers before having it cut, so i feel totally different. i suggest that, cause you'll need less shampoo, and take up less time combing or brushing. my hair's thick, like yours, but is straight straight straight. good luck with whatever you decide...look at your pictures from before to see whether you like how it looked.:)

My hair is color damaged beyond belief, what hair product(eg shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner)

what deep conditioner or hair product could make my hair soft and smooth again instead of being a frizzy and coarse feeling mess?

my hair feels so rough and the only thing that keeps it from looking nappy is hair spray, which damages my hair even more.

i desperately need a really good deep conditioner that will restore my hair above and beyond what i had before i colored my hair.

My hair is color damaged beyond belief, what hair product(eg shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner)can i use?

Make sure you use a professional brand product that specializes in moisturizing and conditioning your hair. My favorites are the Cloud 9 line by Brocato. This is what they say about them (and the claims are true - I've used these products to restore and revive my hair - the mouse is the best - NOT sticky and hard, a conditioning leave in treatment - it's incredible):

Cloud 9 Miracle Repair System ...for Hair that's 3 Times Stronger!

Hair havoc - we're all guilty of it. Sun, styling, chemical service - they all deplete hair of essential nutrients and significantly weaken hair's structure. Add everyday exposure to environmental stressors, and hair is in constant state of survival. The result is weak, dry, damaged tresses ... in need of a miracle.

Cloud 9 Miracle Repair System in an amazing new regimen designed to leave hair 3 times stronger! Each product is formulated with Brocato's exclusive Cloud 9 Miracle Repair Complex, a special of healing nutrients, fortifying plant proteins and UV protectants proven to leave hair 3 times stronger. Weak, dull, lifeless hair is transformed. Body, bounce and shine take over...It's not a dream. It's a miracle!

My hair is color damaged beyond belief, what hair product(eg shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner)can i use?

dove conditioner works great!!

My hair is color damaged beyond belief, what hair product(eg shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner)can i use?

VO5 hot oil treatment or go to a drug store that is in your area and find a conditioner for color treated hair.

My hair is color damaged beyond belief, what hair product(eg shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner)can i use?

i would recommend "herbal essence" shampoo %26amp; conditioners.

though if doesn't work try "sunsilk"

My hair is color damaged beyond belief, what hair product(eg shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner)can i use?

Wella is the best branded product u cud use.

My hair is color damaged beyond belief, what hair product(eg shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner)can i use?

use wheatgerm oil

My hair is color damaged beyond belief, what hair product(eg shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner)can i use?

K-pac by Joico is very good. You can get it where professional products are sold. You will also have to stop coloring for a while, to really see some improvement.

My hair is color damaged beyond belief, what hair product(eg shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner)can i use?

For extremely damaged hair, you do not want to buy cheap hair products (sorry, I hate to say it, but Wal-Mart shampoos and conditioners are chalked full of oil that coats your hair to make it soft, not repair it). I recommend Redken Smooth Down Shampoo, Conditioner. Also, after using the combo, I recommend using Rusk sea-kelp lusterizer cream or Redken All Soft cream. I also highly recommend the Pureology line of shampoo and conditioner, which is specifically designed for color-treated hair. This line is rather expensive, but, again, it is specifically designed to rejuvinate hair damaged by color. But seriously, I would not recommend the products that are available at convenience stores. You want to use professional products for extreme problems.

My hair is color damaged beyond belief, what hair product(eg shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner)can i use?

there r many thing but first i would say dont color ur hair or put chimicals in it like gell or hairspary etc.. u could use suave, herbal essence, sunsilkor vo5 hot oils conditionar and leave in conditionar help make hair smooth abd silky again

My hair is color damaged beyond belief, what hair product(eg shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner)can i use?

You should check out my website to find all natural shampoo and other products that will bring your hair back to the way it is suppose to be.

FALLING HAIR -

Does your hair fall a lot? Don't worry, you're not alone. Millions of people from all around the world suffer from dry, brittle and weak hair. Some of the possible reasons for falling hair are:

Tension

Too much work

Illness

Poor diet

Over-exposure to the sun

Perming

Amateur bleaching

Too frequent and inexpert use of tints, rinses or other colourants

Here is what you can do to prevent hair fall

Shampoo regularly. Remember, a CLEAN scalp is a HEALTHY SCALP.

Brahmi amla oil also promotes hair growth.

A high protein diet with plenty of fruits, green vegetables and dairy products is a must.

Drink 10-12 glass of water everyday.

Use a very mild shampoo and condition your hair at least twice a week. When you do, make sure you rinse out the conditioner thoroughly, otherwise residue build-up will cause your hair to look limp and dull.

Know your vitamins! IRON is important for healthy hair and brittle, limp hair indicates an iron deficiency. Spinach has a good iron content, so gulp it down!

ZINC helps prevent hair loss and greying. Eat adequate zinc rich foods. Overweight people tend to have zinc deficiency, which is inversely related to the body mass index. Thus if you are overweight and if your hair falls too much, you may want to increase your intake of zinc containing foods. Recipes containing stone ground, wholegrain flour are rich in zinc.

A shortfall in VITAMIN B may cause dandruff, falling hair, loss of colour and could encourage grey hair. So B group Vitamins are essential for gloss, colour and thickness.

VITAMIN C ensures the health of capillaries supplying blood to hair follicles. Make sure your diet includes plenty of fresh fruits and veggies.

VITAMIN E encourages hair growth. Switch from refined flours to wholemeal and wheatgerm, eggs, vegetable oil.

COPPER stops hair from falling. Studies show that the copper content in the blood serum of people with falling hair is less than normal. Different types of alopecia (falling hair) are seen to have a deficiency of this important trace element. Include small quantities of nuts, especially cashews and peanuts, seeds, whole milk and beans in your diet as these contain minute but important amounts of copper.

Homemade remedies for preventing hair fall:

Apply almond oil on scalp and massage.

Grind fenugreek seeds in water and apply on your scalp. Wash off after 40 minutes. Do this every morning for a month 闅哣 if it suits you! Remember, different treatments suit different types of hair.

Massage warm castor oil + almond oil into your scalp gently. Wrap a hot towel around your scalp so it gets absorbed into the hair. Do this twice a week for healthy, shiny hair.

Add 2-3 drops of honey to a glass of water and use this as the last rinse after shampooing.

Quick Hair Care Conditioner

Mix 1 egg, 2 tbs castor oil, 1 tsp vinegar and 1 tsp glycerine. Beat until frothy and massage lightly into your scalp. Wrap your head in a hot towel, steam, then wash off. This conditioner makes hair thicker, shiny, soft and manageable.

Honey Conditioner

Beat 1-2 eggs (depending on the length of the hair), 1 tsp honey and 2 tsp olive oil. Massage gently into the scalp. Steam, and shampoo after an hour.

Alcohol Conditioner

Beat 1-2 eggs with 2 tsp brandy. Massage into your scalp. Leave for 10-15 mins. Rinse well. The egg nourishes your hair and brandy stimulates hair growth.

Your hair is a vital beauty asset, requiring constant loving care. And with a little nurturing, lush, glossy hair will be yours

ESSENTIALS FOR FALLING HAIR -

Does your hair fall often Arm yourself with these tools to combat hair fall.

Wide-toothed comb

Get yourself a wide-toothed comb. This is probably one of the most important yet underutilized of all hair tools. A wide-toothed comb helps you distribute conditioner evenly all over your hair while shampooing and conditioning. In addition, it also helps get rid of knots smoothly.

The best time to get rid of knots is during conditioning. Apply conditioner and run a wide toothed comb gently through your hair.

While untangling dry hair, do so in sections. Take one section at a time, and first, untangle the ends of your hair. Do so slowly, and don?t pull unless you want your hair to fall out in clumps or break.

Don?t wait for the last minute before detangling your hair. Every night, while sitting in front of the television, run a wide toothed comb gently through your hair, until you have untangled it completely. Do this every night, and you will notice that your hair remains free from tangles.

Leave-in conditioner

Dry hair tends to tangle easily, and, needless to say, causes it to break. Make sure your hair is never devoid of moisture by always keeping a bottle of leave-in conditioner handy. The next time you feel your hair is dry and rough to the touch, simply rub a dollop of leave-in conditioner between your palms, and apply it to your hair. Comb through with your wide toothed comb. Your hair will be instantly rejuvenated and moisturized. Gradually, the texture will also improve. This is a must if you blow dry your hair regularly, or if it is chemically treated. Such hair constantly craves moisture, so get yourself a bottle of leave-in conditioner.

Oil

Olive, almond and coconut oils are all excellent for the hair. While you could apply oil as an alternative to leave-in conditioner, oil tends to make your hair sticky, and you cannot style your hair well after applying oil. Your only alternative would then be to tie up your hair. For better results with oil, apply just a few drops immediately after washing your hair, when your hair is still dripping wet. Oil doesn?t penetrate the strands as easily as leave-in conditioner does though. Nothing beats a hot oil massage followed by a steam treatment, as the steam helps the oil penetrate the hair strands, strengthening them and curtailing hair fall.

Egg

Egg is great for the hair ? there are no two ways about it! True, it causes a tremendous stink in the bathroom, and your hair may let off an ?eggy? smell, but the results are instantaneous and worth it! Egg strengthens your hair almost immediately, and the egg yolk leaves your hair shining. Whip an egg with two tablespoons of olive oil and apply it to your hair. Wash off after half an hour. Make sure you wash off with cold water though, or the egg will start cooking in your hair, and would be harder to take off! Use a scented shampoo to counter the smell of egg in your hair, and follow up with a leave-in conditioner. Do this for a month, and you will be amazed by the change in your hair texture and the reduction in hair fall.

I got my hair rebonded and i am 13 years old and hair is falling?

is rebonding the same as relaxing?

i have relaxed hair and i have about 3 inches of curly hair and it doesn't look weird.

If you have shortish hair maybe it'll look a little wierd but if u have long hair the hair should cover the curly hair up.

you need to do a good protein treatment with Aphogee Keratin Reconstructor. Put that on ur hair for 15-30 minutes then follow it up with Garnier Deep Conditioning Mask+Honey, Olive Oil, and Coconut oil for an hour. You also need to wait at least 8 weeks in between each relaxing session.

okay how should i get my hair done should i get extensions put back in it and wear it long and wavy or should i keep it short and what color should i dye it? pleaseeee post picturesss or vividly describe how i should have my hair done. my appointment is tomorrow and i'm indecisive i'm up for anything really..

Hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair??????

the 2nd picture is definatly my favorite, i like the short hair/ shoulder length hair. a rich dark brown color compliments your skin tone best. %26amp;%26amp; wear you bangs a little long and to the siide. full bangs can be too harsh %26amp;%26amp; side bangs are easier to pull back, if you deside you want them out of you face.

good luck with your new hair :)

Hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair??????

honestly hun it really depends on what your hair looks like the texture the color what lenght you have now and if your just wanting to color it like i said it really depends on what color you hair is say your hair is dark brown you dont want to go blond because your hair will look like crap when its done you dont want to go from dark to light in one day that takes time to build up to (just to let you know im a hairstylist) so maybe if we could see some pics of you and what you have to work with maybe more answers could be made

Hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair??????

I have to say that the second picture is the best.Don't get full bangs and you look weird as a blonde.Just have short hair and the seond picture bangs are cute.It really suits your face.

Hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair??????

i loved the log black hair maybe with a few highlights and maybe cut your bangs chin length and put them to the side ohh and maybe layers!!!!!

Hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair??????

i think the 2nd pic was best

Hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair??????

I believe you will look good in whatever style you choose, but, I like the style you have now.

I hope this helps.

Hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair??????

your eyes pop with the black hair and the best cut was the the full bags look....so try the full bangs look with black hair!!youll look awesome!hope i helped!

You can find your exact answer at below link. It will definitely help you.

What do you recommend for my hair type?

I have a lot of hair and it is thick, coarse, dry, and wavy/curly. But for some reason I can't go a day without washing it. I know washing it everyday dries it out even more, but if I wait until the next day it is extremely oily and gross. This happens whether I use conditioner or not. Can someone help?

What do you recommend for my hair type?

go to a salon and get it strightened and if you like it then buy a strightner. You might want to not wash it as much. Try switching shampoo brands. Maybe the kind you use does not work for you. Also, you may want to try to get it cut. I sugguest going to sholder length and getting layers. This will help with the thickness.

What do you recommend for my hair type?

dont use it conditioner! and if you are a teen growing, thats what happens (oily hair). sorry thats all i can give ^^;

What do you recommend for my hair type?

Also try switching your pillowcase it carries a lot of hair oils. Also if you use oily prone hair conditioners then that should help

Cool, Korn style, Hair?

Ok, I have thick, straight hair that goes down to the end of my neck and around my face it goes down to my chin. My hair color is very dark blond (it looks light brown but you can see traces of blonde in it). And anyway, i wanted to get dreadlocks but I found out that other than looking cool they basically kill your hair. And I want to know is there anyway that I can make my hair look like it's waxed and wet but spikey around the bottom and to kind of dye my hair into darker and lighter shades of brown around different sections. I want my hair to look cool, and unsual (you know something you don't see everyday but doesn't kill your hair like dreads do).

The result I'm basically looking for is darker and lighter shades of brown in my hair, and spikey waxed looking long hair (kind of how Korn, the band always looked when their first album came out). Can you reccommend any products, or ways to get the results I want or suggest any other hair style?

Good hair products(shampoo,conditioner,l... in lotion etc)for flyaway, frizzy and wavy shoulder lengt

I am an Asian and have black coarse naturally wavy hair that's one length cut at shoulder length. It is a bit thick and tends to have nicer wavy when it's wet after washing my hair. After my hair dries naturally, it has loose messy waves that is very frizzy and tends to flyaway. The strands of my hair will stick out that makes it looks very messy as if I didn't comb my hair. Is there any brand of shampoo and conditioner that will combat the frizz and make my waves nicer while moisturising my hair at the same time? Hopefully the brands can be found easily in supermarket and drug store(eg. Pantene, Sun Silk, Loreal,Charles Worthington etc).I live in Singapore where the climate is hot and humid all year round. I do not colour my hair and hope that I can achieve nice natural waves without using any heat products. Besides shampoo and conditioner, is there any other hair products you love? Thank you for taking your time to help me!

Good hair products(shampoo,conditioner,l... in lotion etc)for flyaway, frizzy and wavy shoulder length hair.?

No shampoo or conditioner can help you only good old fashioned jizism.

Good hair products(shampoo,conditioner,l... in lotion etc)for flyaway, frizzy and wavy shoulder length hair.?

I would thin out the inner hair next time you go to get a haircut and then apply frizz ease by john frieda! great product , have been using it for yrs. That way, when you blow dry your hair, people won't even notice inside the hair , just the top layer and youcut your style time down a lot.

I had the same problem and found the solution really cheap! Herbal essences "break's over" shampoo and conditioner worked wonders. Stopped the frizz and flyaways, and it has like silk proteins and pearl complex to hydrate the hair and make it look shiny and gorgeous! Give it a try!

Good hair products(shampoo,conditioner,l... in lotion etc)for flyaway, frizzy and wavy shoulder length hair.?

The absolute best is the new brand called Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it wont dry out your hair, plus...it smells awesome! Organix has different collections for different hair types which are all amazing! You can get Organix at Target, Albertsons, Kroger, Bed Bath %26amp; Beyond, Duane Reade, Safeway, and select Wal-Mart and CVS. Its the best! You'll love it!!!

Don't wash your hair every day. Wash it every other day. Don't use shampoo anymore. You can wash your hair with conditioner or check out Wen Cleansing Conditioner - great stuff: http://www.chazdean.com/ (I don't know if they ship to Singapore).

Use a good styling product and put it in your hair when it is wet and let your hair air dry. Or you can, after you put in the styling product, wait until your hair is about 90% dry, then wrap it in a bun and leave it for about 30 minutes until it is fully dry. Take it out and you should have beautiful, gentle waves.

HAIRAPY ITS GREAT JK JK IDK I JUST WANT MORE POINTS

Good hair products(shampoo,conditioner,l... in lotion etc)for flyaway, frizzy and wavy shoulder length hair.?

i know that kind of problems since opening until i closed the salon, Ive been working in salon for more than a year, i actually know that problem since my sister also have that kind of hair. why dont you try Schwarzkopf product, you try their total repair treatment it nicer on hair to make your hair soft and healthy then you can use their moisture kick conditioner, its a leave in styles in a convenient bottle which you can carry it anywhere since you said that you live in country where he weather is hot. so you can spray it anytime of the day.

and about your hair styles dint just thinned around, their are style that compliment waxy hair, ask some stylist about it.

and setting up your hair, used some curler and some styling product that can tamed your hair. try some cream based product

i know you can do it girl..

Hair and extension colors?

I always have my hair colored in many colors and recently I've been interested in adding extentions in my hair. Now, the only problem is I can't find extensions in the color of my hair. What should I do? Should I dye my hair the color of the extensions I buy? Would certain types of hair extensions be able to be dyed in the color I want?

Here are some examples of what I'm talking about;

These girls [Ganguro girls] dye their natural hair and add alot of extensions. I want to know if there is any way that I would be able to find hair extenions in really different colors.

Thank You!

Hair and extension colors?

if you buy human hair extensions you can dye them, and i've done this before and it worked great.

also there are bright / unusual coloured hair extensions here

Zomgshh hair loss :o !?

lmfaoo basically... I'm 13 years old, and have been straightening my hair for a year, with a pretty crap hair straightener! I use tons of different heat protection products as well! And for awhile my hair was getting dry etc.

About year term i get a haircut. Since the first semister i've had simple layered hair. In the next semister, i've changed it into a short scene mullet.

The scene mullet requires alot of hairspray and texturing paste etc. As soon as i had it cut as that, i notice some of my hair was falling

Now the situationn has becoming more serious. My parents said they could see thinning of my hair at the top of my scalp %26gt;_%26lt; ! So yesterday i tried the hot oil coconut treatmeant, my mum said my scalp wasn't even that bad. Afterward i washed my hair out, my hair was more shiner as well as softer. But i still have really dry ends.

I can get alot of answers to these i guess, but i'm only 13 so don't go crazy with answers :p !

Im runin outvof room! more questions? ask me :]!

Zomgshh hair loss :o !?

Zomgshh hair loss :o !?

Get a vitamin that prevents hair loss and a moursturizing shampoo and conditoner that also has a anti-breakig in it

Zomgshh hair loss :o !?

your hair is mad at you because you toreture it way too much. You even gota nasty mullet, that is so dumb. using too much hair crap can actually give you cancer, so get it checked on. Trust me, im in beauty school.

Zomgshh hair loss :o !?

sometimes in the shower my hair falls out.

mostly because i wear my hair up alot and it pulls my hair out, but i have very thick hair so it doesn't make much or a difference. it's probably all those products. i don't think straightening your hair will do much damage but the products probably do. splurge on a good hair straightener if you really straighten your hair often. it may help.

i hope this helped

Zomgshh hair loss :o !?

well your consistant straightening and hair products can definitley cause hair loss. but also, as with my hair, i found that the changing in weather has also caused my hair to thin, especially in the summer. (but all hair is different) to take care of the dry ends, get a trim and while your there, ask your hairdresser if there is anything you can do to help your situation. good luck! =]

Zomgshh hair loss :o !?

well, first of all, straightening your hair damages it.

i already had thin, fragile hair, and after straigthening it for almost three years with no break, it started to thin and look really bad.

i ended up getting sidebangs so i could put my hair up [ and it looked good ] and not straighten for a while. my hair stylist also gave me a special shampoo and conditioner to repair damaged hair.

now its much thicker and is really starting to get better.

i found that after giving it a break and using the products i use, it is much more managable, and if it want to leave it down, i can, and i dont need to straighten it.

so, you have some choices. you can find a style that you like that doesnt damage your hair, talk to a professional about the best protection, or you can just stop straightening your hair for a while.

you should also have your hair trimmed often so you can keep the dry and split ends off. some say that trimming your hair makes it grow longer, faster. but i dont know. =D

good luck.

it will work out.

Frizzy Hair!!! and i hate it!?

My hair is extremly long! Like it is down to my butt!! and it is really really frizzy!! The only thing that seemed to work so far has been using a straightner on my hair and with my hair being so long it takes between 45 an hour to do it and then i have to do it every time i get out of the shower after i wash my hair (i wash my hair about every three days) Is there anything that you might have tried and worked on de frizzing your hair!!

Things i have tried that didnt work:

air drying my hair(no blow dryer)

Sunslik de poof (shampoo con. and the stuff you put in after your shower)

NONE of those work so please dont sugest them

i would really appreiate this help. Not having the frizz in my hair after i straighten it is such a releif so this is a big deal to me!! so i will try just about anything. If you have a product that works please give the brand and the place you got it!!

Thanks so much!! %26lt;3

Frizzy Hair!!! and i hate it!?

Use John Friedas anti frizz line of products, you can purchase them at a rite-aid or wal-mart.

Frizzy Hair!!! and i hate it!?

i know exactly how you feel!

what I do is get my hair trimmed and washed, cuz it always gets silky after that! to keep your hair salon silky use biosilk when blow drying/straightening yur hair

Frizzy Hair!!! and i hate it!?

I've found that this aveda product works really well:

http://aveda.com/templates/products2/spp...

it smells great, too!

it doesn't make your hair greasy, and pumps up the shine.

you're directed to only use a pea size amount, so in theory, the container should last a long time.

you can also layer it on, some when your hair's wet, and some after it's dried.

Frizzy Hair!!! and i hate it!?

i used the sunsilk pink bottle, not the shampoo or conditioner, but the 'after shower treatment' the one you can leave in, and i basically used 1/2 the bottle to'de frizz my head' and it looked sooooo oily, but i twisted it and put it up, my hair is only to my bra, and slept in it.

the next day, i got a shower, and really really conditioned it again, but didn't rinse on hot water. i t seemed to help alot.

you can also go to the salon and get a deep conditioning, or use 'black' womans conditioner, it should work better.

Frizzy Hair!!! and i hate it!?

Why do you keep your hair so long? Do you think that it's just possible that the ends of your hair are dead and dry and that's what's causing the frizz? Maybe you need to get a good trim and have them deep condition your hair. The cut has a lot to do with it. If you dep condition it once a week, that should help. A good stylist will help you, not just sell you tons of expensive products you'll never use. Get a referall from a friend.

Frizzy Hair!!! and i hate it!?

i use sunsilk frizz controll

Frizzy Hair!!! and i hate it!?

you need a cut and a really good conditioner and product. try paul mitchell quick slip to make drying faster. i got it from a stylist who sells tons of paul mitchell products. she does not work for a chain salon like great clips or anything she has her own little place that is part of a place with other people like her working there. or you can order it online. sally's beauty supply does not sell brand names.

i suggest you go to a stylist like that who sells a lot of paul mitchell products and she will be able to make suggestions for you.

even if you want to keep your hair long, you need to get it trimmed up about every 6 weeks so it will grow healthy.

oh yeah, condition your hair every time you wash it. leave it in for several minutes and mix it with aloe vera (not the kind with lidocaine or alcohol in it).

another good place to get advice is any girly magazine like seventeen or the hairstyle magazines

good luck

Frizzy Hair!!! and i hate it!?

There's a brand called Joico, and it has products specifically designed to fight frizz, called Silk Result. Thats all I use and its really really good.

www.joico.com

And theres this stuff that you can put on anytime during the day called Smooth Polish by Silk Elements. That stuff is incredible at making your hair not frizzy, and it doesn't make it oily looking either.

You could also try some hot oil treatments [like the VO5 one] or any kind of deep conditioner [preferabbly Pantene]

[[GUYS!]] What hair color is the hottest?

brunettes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! natural not dyed or anything

[[GUYS!]] What hair color is the hottest?

Some chicks can rock different hair colors better than others. I think black is on average the best looking.

[[GUYS!]] What hair color is the hottest?

to me, whenever a red head walks by you would have to smack me upside the head to stop from drooling. I don't know what it is about red heads but they hypnotize me.

[[GUYS!]] What hair color is the hottest?

Black or Brunettes

[[GUYS!]] What hair color is the hottest?

brunettes

[[GUYS!]] What hair color is the hottest?

Black, brown

[[GUYS!]] What hair color is the hottest?

All of the above except blondes.

Blondes are always a turnoff for me, their personality is so annoying it detracts from their hotness.

[[GUYS!]] What hair color is the hottest?

black hair is hot just black it self so dark and evil it's ******* hot

[[GUYS!]] What hair color is the hottest?

It depends on the skin and face, But i mostly prefer all of them. I don't think the hair color would change too much. i don't care abt hair color. I care abt brain and heart color.

[[GUYS!]] What hair color is the hottest?

black hair = brunette !!

I like all but prefer brunettes! :)

[[GUYS!]] What hair color is the hottest?

REDHEADS!!!! The brighter, the better!!! Redheads may be rarer than Blondes or Brunettes, but that just means we guys who like the red hair notice you more.

If you had any idea how sexy red hair is, you'd be jealous of every redhead you saw... :-)

Bleaching hair any hair laser experts/ experienced?

i have a problem with facial hair, i used to bleach but it would be too thick and obvious since my skin colour was brown and my hair is black. then i would thread, and it broke out very badly in spots (waxing has same effect) and i am going to laser as hair removal cream makes it return thickly and doesnt remove from the roots. problem is, my hair regrowth is pretty fast, almost weekly. and the laser treatments are monthly. i can only shave and and trim in between ---- but which girl wants to have her face shaven?!?!? the person i was making an appointment with said i could bleach as long as the roots return to black... is there anyway of using some kind of liquid or chemicals to get rid of the bleach and blond hairs on my face before an appointment??? i am not willing to dye the hairs on my face black, wont it make them really obvious and thicker??? and laser works best on black hair. help me please

Bleaching hair any hair laser experts/ experienced?

I had laser on my face as well. I was told never to bleach it during treatment cycles. You really just better of shaving it. Honestly if you shave it every day or every other day no one will ever notice. The more times you get lasered the less hairs will be growing back anyway so it is not like you are going to develop man-stubble in the process. There are only 5 weeks in between each treatment so suck it up and do the shave thing so you don't risk making your laser treatments less effective ( huge waste of money!)
