Hair Dye??????

i have really really really dark dark dark brown hair (almost black, but its not) and i had orangy highlights (it looked good though) and i dyed my hair bright auburn blonde (it was red) and it came out really good except it came out really nice one my highlights and my roots. and i wanna re-dye it cuz alot of my hair is still brown. i dye it on saturday. how long should i wait till i dye it again? it recamends 4-6 weeks but i was wondering if i could do it in like 2 or 3 weeks, and if i did what would happen? but its not like i dont like it it looks real nice but its still part brown in the back and red on like the out sides of my hair. so when can i re-dye my hair?

and how much does it cost to have someone at a salon dye it for you (if you bring in the hair dye)?

Hair Dye??????

I would wait two weeks, if youre just dyeing to fix a problem, and condition and moisturize your hair a lot before you do. Salon dyed can cost up to a hundred dollars, but you cant bring in dye, and even if you could, you'd still be paying out of your nose for the labor, not the actual product. I say you should check the boxes and see if the dye is natural. If so, you don't have to wait at all. And it should say it on the box whether it's organic.

Hair Dye??????

I have brn hair with auburn highlights and I lighten my hair. I wouldn't recommend doing it before the 4 week period. You could possible burn your scalp and not realize it, also, the chemicals in the dye's remove the natural oils/protectants from the scalp.

I would wait at least 5 weeks if I were you, just to be on the safe side. And even then, just do a wash in lightner.

Hair Dye??????

i think that it would cost about 5 to 10 pounds, but i'm not sure i think you should wait a week because in tat week u should wash it at least 4 times/ 5 in the week therefore it will clear out a bit good luck.x

Hair Dye??????

Well if you did in 2 or 3 weeks, it will still work, although the results will be better if you wait around 5 weeks. except, if you continue do it too soon, in the end [ when you get old ] theres more of a chance of your hair falling out. so just be careful. if you want your hair dyed but you don't buy the dye, it'll cost around $60-70. However, if you bring your own, it will cost from 30-40 dollars. i have much experience with this.. hope i helped! =]

Hair Dye??????

The 4-6 week reccomendation is there to protect your hair. Over processing your hair leads to breakage and damage. From my own experiance, I started out with highlights... went all the way blonde and then tried to go back to my natural brown. I damaged my hair so badly that I had to cut it all off. My hair was to the middle of my back and I had to cut it really close to my head. Any chemical process that you do to your hair strips your hair and scalp of it's natrual oils. Now I don't dye or lighten my hair at all lol. Good luck. I suggest getting with a good stylist and following their reccomendations. Also Sally Beauty Supply has an excellent deep conditioner that comes in a single package for around $2. I would definitely reccommend using this product, as you may have noticed your hair is probably getting really dry.
