I mean can you use bleach that you use with laundry.

No. As I understand it, you go to a beauty salon or beauty supply store and purchase a product made for hair bleaching. Chemicals made for cleaning are probably much too strong for skin.

Sure, it can lighten your hair and most likely will, but it will also damage it. Make sure you get the bleach for hair.
