Frizzy Hair!!! and i hate it!?

My hair is extremly long! Like it is down to my butt!! and it is really really frizzy!! The only thing that seemed to work so far has been using a straightner on my hair and with my hair being so long it takes between 45 an hour to do it and then i have to do it every time i get out of the shower after i wash my hair (i wash my hair about every three days) Is there anything that you might have tried and worked on de frizzing your hair!!

Things i have tried that didnt work:

air drying my hair(no blow dryer)

Sunslik de poof (shampoo con. and the stuff you put in after your shower)

NONE of those work so please dont sugest them

i would really appreiate this help. Not having the frizz in my hair after i straighten it is such a releif so this is a big deal to me!! so i will try just about anything. If you have a product that works please give the brand and the place you got it!!

Thanks so much!! %26lt;3

Use John Friedas anti frizz line of products, you can purchase them at a rite-aid or wal-mart.

I've found that this aveda product works really well:

it smells great, too!

it doesn't make your hair greasy, and pumps up the shine.

you're directed to only use a pea size amount, so in theory, the container should last a long time.

you can also layer it on, some when your hair's wet, and some after it's dried.

i used the sunsilk pink bottle, not the shampoo or conditioner, but the 'after shower treatment' the one you can leave in, and i basically used 1/2 the bottle to'de frizz my head' and it looked sooooo oily, but i twisted it and put it up, my hair is only to my bra, and slept in it.

the next day, i got a shower, and really really conditioned it again, but didn't rinse on hot water. i t seemed to help alot.

you can also go to the salon and get a deep conditioning, or use 'black' womans conditioner, it should work better.

Why do you keep your hair so long? Do you think that it's just possible that the ends of your hair are dead and dry and that's what's causing the frizz? Maybe you need to get a good trim and have them deep condition your hair. The cut has a lot to do with it. If you dep condition it once a week, that should help. A good stylist will help you, not just sell you tons of expensive products you'll never use. Get a referall from a friend.

i use sunsilk frizz controll

you need a cut and a really good conditioner and product. try paul mitchell quick slip to make drying faster. i got it from a stylist who sells tons of paul mitchell products. she does not work for a chain salon like great clips or anything she has her own little place that is part of a place with other people like her working there. or you can order it online. sally's beauty supply does not sell brand names.

i suggest you go to a stylist like that who sells a lot of paul mitchell products and she will be able to make suggestions for you.

even if you want to keep your hair long, you need to get it trimmed up about every 6 weeks so it will grow healthy.

oh yeah, condition your hair every time you wash it. leave it in for several minutes and mix it with aloe vera (not the kind with lidocaine or alcohol in it).

another good place to get advice is any girly magazine like seventeen or the hairstyle magazines

good luck

There's a brand called Joico, and it has products specifically designed to fight frizz, called Silk Result. Thats all I use and its really really good.

www.joico.com

And theres this stuff that you can put on anytime during the day called Smooth Polish by Silk Elements. That stuff is incredible at making your hair not frizzy, and it doesn't make it oily looking either.

You could also try some hot oil treatments [like the VO5 one] or any kind of deep conditioner [preferabbly Pantene]

:]
